At KS3, we have introduced the new curriculum for Wales. The four core purposes form a foundation of our curriculum offer:
- Ambitious capable learners who are ready to learn throughout their lives;
- Healthy, confident individuals who are ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society
- Enterprising, creative individuals who are ready to play a full part in life and work
- Ethical, informed citizens who are ready to be citizens of Wales and the world

The staff at Maesgwyn have developed an exciting curriculum that focuses on termly themes such as ‘All around the World’, ‘Cymru am byth’ and the ‘digital age’ while collaborating on exciting cross curricular projects that has ensured a high quality, pupil focussed curriculum fit for the 21st century.
