Key Stage 3 pupils have just finished a topic on Drugs & Behaviour which included a visit from our local Police Officer, PC Claire Price. They have also been trying to solve the mystery of 'who stole Mr Locke's mug' this term as part of a CSI project across the Area of Science and Technology; in their Science lessons this has involved learning about the role of forensic scientists, practising good hand-washing techniques and will also include analysing evidence found.

Key Stage 4 pupils have been working towards achieving BTEC Level 1 in Applied Science qualifications. They completed a unit on 'Health and Disease' which involved a class simulation of how disease can be transmitted from person to person. As part of this unit they also carried out a heart dissection.
