Health and Well-being is delivered via PE, food technology, animal care, horticulture, hair & beauty, forest schools, well being and structured play sessions
This area of learning and experience will support learners to develop and maintain not only their physical health and well-being, but also their mental health and emotional well-being, as well as developing positive relationships in a range of contexts.
On the left is an example of a health and well being scheme of learning. In this particular example of a food technology scheme of learning we are running a cross-curricular project on the "Our Rugby Players in the Rugby World Cup in Japan".
Underpinning the learning is the four core purposes, the three core learning skills and the Maesgwyn 'house teaching style'
