Kandinsky Abstract

For this lessons, we will use line and shapes and colors to create an abstract artwork, using the work of Vassily Kandinsky for inspiration.

Vassily Kandinsky was a Russian artist who is most well-know for his abstract paintings. Astract art is art that isn't realistic. The line and shapes and colors in these paintings by Kandinsky aren't meant to represent real objects.

Music inspired Kandinsky to create these paintings - he said that when he listened to music, line and shapes and colors would come into his imagination.
