Chris Uphues is a working American artist. He is best known for his signature pop art which is colorful, playful and lots of fun. His work is always happy and full of optimism, often featuring hearts and flowers.
He creates murals as well as prints, paintings and sculptures.
His work is also available on an assortment of merchandise such as greetings cards, stationery, stickers and t shirts through his company Beautiful Days.

This is a great project to use as a gift for someone, to use for a card or just to have fun with.
You'll need white paper, pencil and eraser for drawing and a black Sharpie for outlining. For color, you can use crayons or markers. I'll give you examples for both in the lesson.
