Parents/Guardians may contact the front office to request printed handouts and homework for any days a student is absent.
All materials are also available to view and print on this class website.
Staying on top of math homework is essential. Falling behind can make it much harder to catch up, so be proactive and stay current with your assignments.
You are responsible for making up ALL of the the work you missed. Before you ask me, “what did we do yesterday?” Make sure you do the following:
Look under the current chapter/unit section for:
Notes (paper copies are on the back wall)
Homework assignments
Answer keys
Any review materials or worksheets
Refer to the Daily Agenda Board or Weekly Calendar for due dates and what we covered each day.
Make sure you’ve viewed and submitted any assignments or digital tasks posted while you were out.
Read any announcements from Ms. Cabiad for important updates.
If you’re unsure what to complete or need help catching up:
Ask a Friend
Ask during Raider Time
Come to before school tutoring (8:20 AM)
Email Ms. Cabiad for clarification or to set up a time to meet
You get 1 day per day absent to make up your work (per school policy).
Example: Miss 2 days = 2 days to make it up.
Missed a test or quiz?
You’ll make it up as soon as you return—so be sure to study ahead. Study guides are available for every unit.
Turn in work that was due while you were absent, if it was assigned before you were out.
⭐️ Don’t forget—this helps avoid late penalties! ⭐️
Check Skyward for missing assignments and any comments about your grade.
Assignments not turned in by the original due date may still be submitted within four class periods, with point deductions:
10% off if turned in within 1 class period (1 day)
20% off if turned in within 2 class periods (2 days)
50% off if turned in within 3 class period or more (+3 pages)
After the unit ends, late work from that unit may not be accepted for credit unless special circumstances or accommodations apply.
