1.6 Describing Pairs of Angles
1.1 – Points, Lines, and Planes
Students will identify and describe basic geometric terms—including points, lines, planes, segments, and rays—and understand how they relate in diagrams (G.5A).
2.3 – Postulates and Diagrams
Students will use postulates to describe geometric relationships and interpret diagrams involving lines, segments, and angles (G.5B).
1.2 – Measuring and Constructing Segments
Students will measure line segments using a ruler, identify congruent segments, and construct segments of given lengths using appropriate tools (G.4B).
1.3 – Using Midpoint Formulas
Students will find the midpoint of a segment on a coordinate plane using the midpoint formula and apply it to geometric problems (G.7A).
1.5 – Measuring and Constructing Angles
Students will measure angles using a protractor, classify angles by their measures, and construct angles of given sizes (G.4B).
1.6 – Describing Pairs of Angles
Students will identify and describe angle pairs—such as adjacent, vertical, complementary, and supplementary—and apply this knowledge to solve problems (G.5A)
