Students will divide polynomials by monomials using properties of exponents and simplify the results (A.10D).
7.5a – Zero Product Property
Students will use the zero product property to solve quadratic and polynomial equations set equal to zero (A.8A).
7.5b – Factoring Polynomials by GCF
Students will factor out the greatest common factor (GCF) from polynomial expressions and solve equations using factoring (A.10E, A.8A).
7.6 – Factoring x² + bx + c
Students will factor quadratic expressions of the form x² + bx + c using product-sum strategies and solve related equations (A.10E, A.8A).
7.7a – Factoring ax² + bx + c
