1.4 Rewriting Equations and Formulas
1.1 – Solving Simple Equations
Students will solve one-step linear equations using inverse operations and identify equations with one, none, or infinite solutions (A.5A, A.5D)
1.2 – Solving Multi-Step Equations
Students will solve multi-step linear equations by combining like terms and using the distributive property, demonstrating fluency with multiple solution strategies (A.5A, A.5C).
1.3 – Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides
Students will solve equations that contain variables on both sides and identify when equations have one solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions (A.5A, A.5D).
1.4 – Rewriting Equations and Formulas
Students will solve formulas and literal equations for a specified variable, using inverse operations and properties of equality to isolate variables in real-world contexts (A.5B).
