Edpuzzle

Edpuzzle is a web based tool that can allow you as the teacher to add questions within a video creating an interactive video quiz. You can then assign the Edpuzzle video quiz to students so that they can watch the video and answer the questions as they go along. More About Edpuzzle

The example at the left is one that I have created and used while teaching the cell cycle and mitosis.

You are able to search different subject content and could use an Edpuzzle video created by someone else or you can create your own by uploading the url of a video you find online.

The Getting Started and Creating Video Lessons links will help you in getting an account setup. I recommend using the signin with Google option to setup your account quickly and easily.

There are several more menu items in the Edpuzzle Help Center for Teachers to help you with any Edpuzzle related questions you might have once you have started creating video quizzes within their platform. There is even a section on LMS system integrations with a section for our LMS of Schoology and integrating Edpuzzle with Schoology. If you use videos within your curriculum and are finding that students don't always pay attention or struggle to grasp the key ideas from the video content this may be a great tool for you!
