Study Sites

This tool is similar to the Study Apps tool but can be used to restrict students to certain websites and keep them from random browsing. Follow the steps below to set up and begin use of this tool.

  1. Open the Study Sites tool by clicking on this choice (not the slider toggle).
  2. Next to the Allow site button at the bottom type in or copy and paste the basic url for the site you would like to allow students to access.
  3. Click on the Allow site button to add it to the list of allowed sites.
  4. You don’t have to give the complete specific address if you want to allow students to visit areas within that site just the home source of the site.
  5. Clicking on the slider toggle next to Study Sites in the left menu will turn this tool on and begin applying the restrictions to the student devices.
  6. You can easily remove sites from the list just by clicking on Remove next to the specific site in the Allowed Sites window. Adding sites can be done just as above.
  7. Clicking on the slider toggle will turn this restriction tool on or off.
