Study Apps

This tool allows you control what apps students in the class are able to open and use during the class session. Follow the steps below to set up and begin use of this tool.

  1. Open the Study Apps tool by clicking on this choice (not the slider toggle).
  2. Click on the Add application(s) to the list button at the bottom.
  3. Choose the apps you want to allow for students to use. Selecting an app will place a check mark next to it and those are the apps that students will be able to access and use.
  4. You can find the different apps depending on what category of the Filtering the apps by: menu they fall under. Native apps, the Loomis ASM apps, or Search the App Store.
  5. You can select and use apps from multiple of the menus above and it will add the checkmarks next to them.
  6. Once you have selected the apps that you want to allow click on the check mark in the top right corner.
  7. You will now see a list of the apps you are allowing students to access.
  8. Clicking on the slider toggle next to Study Apps in the left menu will turn this tool on and begin applying the restrictions to the student devices.
  9. Should you want to remove apps you are allowing just click on them in the Study Apps window and click the X. To add apps click on the Add application(s) to the list button again and select more apps to allow.
  10. Clicking on the slider toggle will turn this restriction tool on or off.
