RECYCLE FOR A LIFECYCLE!
We focused on SDG12: RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION. This allowed us to plan different activities that contribute to the goal. The first one is an art piece made up of bottle caps and waste materials which sadly end in landfills. The art piece will be displayed on the campus with the aim to give a visual reminder to refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle. Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to pick up different roles ranging from painters, journalists, campaigners, artists, and content writers. We visited two recycling plants to learn and explore a circular economy. Students campaigned at Caudan Waterfront followed by an impactful presentation at the Odysseo Oceanarium. Our group made it a priority to spread the message of not only recycling our trash but also our mindset.

RECYCLE FOR A LIFECYCLE! Our impactful journey started today! After a collaborative and thought-provoking session, our group decided to focus on SDG12 : RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION. This allowed us to then proceed to work on different activities, the first one being an art piece made up of bottle caps and waste materials which eventually end in landfills. We divided ourselves into different groups ranging from painters, journalists, campaigners, artists, and content writers. This will continue throughout the week. Our group made it a priority to spread the message of not only recycling our trash but also our mindset. Don’t forget to follow us for more updates and spread the message #stopthescrap
With everyone’s commitment and hard work we finally completed our magnificent artwork using waste materials. This is truly an outcome of strong collaboration and team spirit. Up next is our visit to two recycling plants tomorrow. We’re excited for this unique experience as we travel to explore a circular economy.
