Description of the project: Students have developed a digital product/project that has addressed the environmental and social challenges faced by the world in our contemporary times. The digital products/projects have been developed based on an issue identified within the school environment and students came up with solutions to that issue. Eg: Lost and Found App, Pre Order Food System. The digital products/projects were presented to a panel of experts from the business and educational fields and winners were selected based on a set of criteria.

It was fun to share our ideas and we learnt how to communicate with each other.

At first our idea was to create an app just for after school activities but then after asking around we added the library part as we realized students don’t use the library to go take books as they have no idea what books are available.

This process went on from Thursday of last week. This was mainly due to each team member having their fair share of interesting ideas. Though on the start date, we settled on the concept of a projector that you could use to project what is happening on your phone and ideas came from there. Brainstorming was all done on a piece of paper with all documentation.

While everything has not gone to plan we have still been able to make rapid pace with all our work. My whole group will be looking forward to tomorrow. It will serve as an horizon that is just far off in the distance but close enough to start reaching for it.
