This is a branch of mathematics in which students will be studying number and word problems. There will be an emphasis on the Ohio content standards. Topics will include statistics, geometry, probability, transformations, equations, ratios, proportions, polygon and trigonometric ratios. These concepts will be covered in more depth and a higher level of difficulty than Practical/Functional Algebra 1 and Practical/Functional Geometry 2. A calculator may be required.
