MTH4510 - Algebra 3 Honors 

· Full year – 1 credit – Grades 11, 12

· Selection Criteria: Must have a C or above in Algebra 2 CP or must have earned an A in Algebra 2 or meet honor placement requirements 

· Fee - none

Algebra 3 Honors is offered as an alternative math class for students who have completed Algebra 2 and are not ready for pre-calculus. Algebra 3 Honors may also be taken by students who received an “F” in pre-calculus. This course is a study of algebraic functions including polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, logarithmic and piecewise defined functions. Topics investigated will include domain, range, graphs, inverses, operations, equations, inequalities and their applications. 

A TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator will be provided for use in class only.
