Algebra 1 is designed to give students a foundation for all future mathematics courses. State standards are taught and reinforced in Algebra 1. This course is created to emphasize the study of multiple representations of linear and non-linear functions. Topics include recognizing and developing patterns of functions using tables, graphs, and equations. These courses provide modified instruction based upon students individualized needs. A calculator will be provided for in-class use only.
