MTH4310 - Algebra 3
· Full year – 1 credit – Grades 11, 12
· Selection Criteria: Must have passed Algebra 2
· Fee - none
Algebra 3 is offered as an alternative math class for students who have completed Algebra II and are not ready for pre-calculus. Algebra 3 may also be taken by students who received an “F” in pre-calculus. Students can expect to review geometry and Algebra 2 topics and build upon their knowledge of problem-solving skills, number patterns, linear relations and functions, equations, matrices and vectors, trigonometry, sequences and series, conics, data analysis, probability, and descriptive and inferential statistics. A TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator will be provided for use in class only.
