Waterfall Term 4 Inquiries
This term, as part of our learning through the National Curriculum, students in the Waterfall pathway will be investigating the very sensitive subject of 'Slavery'. Our learning has began through a provocation afternoon, where students were spilt by the months they were born, with the minority being leaders and the majority having to complete jobs given by those in power.
Once set to task, some of the leaders were clearly more empathetic and rolled up their sleeves to help. Where as others took the role very seriously.
At the end the students reflected upon their roles. Sabriella stated that those who were put to work, had lost their 'freedom'. Lucie commented that she enjoyed being in charge, where as Harry L was not as comfortable with this and shared the load! Tyler as the leader also supported his peers.
