This term, we are making one pot recipes like an adventurer or explore would.  

We researched different recipes on the internet and chose different one pot recipes.

Our focus is to transport and use knives and saucepans correctly and safely.

Mince and Halloumi one pot

We chose correct boards for preparing, white for diary and brown for vegetables

.We learned how to safely carry and then use a knife


Josh and Chris sauteed the garlic and leek

Aleem browned off the mince

Chan added the sauce.

Sabriella stirred in the spinach.

Spaghetti Bolognaise one pot

Chris was not keen on cutting the onions.

Aiden washed up the chopping boards.

Jayden used the saucepan to saute and soften the vegetables.

Oscar carefully stirred in the mince meat.

Harry watched carefully as the minced browned off.

Aiden thought the one pot was delicious.

Chicken and Pumpkin Penne One pot

We prepared the vegetables, Chris carefully sliced up the broccoli.

We used cooked chicken and chopped it up small.

Lemon was put in the topping, Oscar enjoyed the sharpness.

Harry did an excellent job of making the stock , safely using boiling water.

 We all used the saucepan on the hob safely.

This term our learning is about 'What's on the menu?'  We researched foods that King Charles enjoys and foods that are suitable for a street party.  We have practiced making Scones ready for the Coronation Celebration, phase 3 are hosting for parents.

Over the last two weeks of term 5, We decided to use all our skills together to cook food that is British.
