Inquiry Day Term 1 2023/234

This term, our students have been learning all about 'Who we are'.  They have investigated this in terms of the wider world, through our different communities and our origins.  As part of our Inquiry Day, the students explored the  different countries that there families migrated from to enrich our line of enquiry:  

'Our school communities can be found within the wider world '.  

Students explored Poland, Australia, Nigeria, China, Japan, India, Norway and Italy.

They investigated the music, dance, the ingredients and foods and made the National Flag from Sensory ingredients and foods from these countries.  The students also took part in a scavenger hunt, working in teams to find pictures of places and objects that resonate with the different countries and then sorted these to put on the different sensory flags. It was a day enjoyed by all and help us all to learn about each other.
