We learned about the role of the School Council then wrote about what we would like to improve . We then voted for who we wanted to represent our class.
This term we are exploring the text - The Stone Mouse
Maths - Number and the Number system
Students have used numicon and prior knowledge to partition 2 digit and 3 digit numbers.
Students have used the fluid partitioning strategy to partition numbers. They have also used different equipment to show the targetted number in different ways.
Cooking
Spartans have investigated national dishes and learned how to use knives safely to make a Greek Salad.
An important part of our learning is washing, wiping up and putting away the equipment we used.
Prawn a la spetsiota
We have been learning about our Local Area, as part of this we researched different produce and recipes from Kent and made a Cookbook using our newly learned computer skills . Check back over the next two weeks to find out which recipes we followed and enjoyed - we will provide you with a review.
