If the customer specifies a new billing date, update their subscription to that date.
If the customer does not provide a date, confirm with them before making changes.
If the customer needs to update their payment method or manage their subscription directly:
Send Customer Portal Login Email
In SamCart or Recharge, send the customer a login email to access their portal.

Manage subscription (cancel and move billing date)
Adjust billing date
Update shipping address

Provide customer access to the Customer Portal by clicking the “Send Card Update Email” button that can be found on the Samcart subscription page of the customer.
Send the macro Subscription::Update Subscription Payment Method to guide the customer on how to update their payment method.
Recharge
Send the update payment method link on Recharge.
Use the [Subscription] No Active Subscription / No Subscription to Cancel macro to confirm that there are no active subscriptions and assure the customer that their recent purchase is a one-time order without recurring charges.
