Creating and Sending a Return Label

Open the order in Shopify.

Click the More Actions button on the top right.

Select Create Return Label.

The default Expected Total Weight for all returns is 1.8 lb.

Click Create and Send Return Label.

From the Shopify home screen, go to the Orders page.

Click View Details in the return section of the order.

You’ll be redirected to the Send Return Label page.

Click Print Label

A PDF of the return label will open in a new window.

Click the Download button (top right) and save the file to your device.

Attach the file to an email to send to the customer.

On the Send Return Label page, click Email Customer.

Shopify will send an email with a download link for the return label.

To get the direct download link:

Click Preview Email.

In the preview, right-click the blue box that says Print Return Label and select Open Link in New Tab.

Copy the link from the address bar of the new tab and share it with the customer so they can download the label.
