This article provides guidance on how to put orders on hold. Placing an order on hold ensures it is properly managed before further processing.
All orders that are imported in Jetpack and still unshipped can be put on hold.
Steps:
Click the Hold button in Jetpack.
Select the reason “Placed on Hold.”
Add any relevant notes in Jetpack for context.
To put an order on hold in SamCart, follow these steps:
Click the Edit button in the Customer Details section.
A side menu will appear on the right. Click the button next to “Billing info is the same as shipping info” to access and edit the Shipping Address.
Add the word HOLD at the front of Address Line 1 in the Shipping Address.
Click the Save Changes button to apply the update.
Note: Once this order is imported into Jetpack, it will automatically be placed on hold in Jetpack as well.
To put an order on hold in Shopify, follow these steps:
Click the three dots button in the Customer Details section on the right side.
Select Edit Shipping Address.
The Edit Shipping Address window will appear.
Add the word HOLD at the front of the Address.
Click Save button to apply the update.
Note: Once this order is imported into Jetpack, it will automatically be placed on hold in Jetpack as well.
