Math:

  1. Copy the problems from the sheet below onto a piece of loose leaf paper then SIMPLIFY each fraction to LOWEST TERMS . When you are finished, send me a picture of your work.

Reading:

1. Log on to READWORKS and complete the two assignments shown. Please remember to TTQA any questions that require a written answer.

Biography Project:

  1. Using the JKHA lower school outline format, (You may write it out on loose leaf paper) complete an outline for Beginning Life. Use all the information that you collected on your "note card" questions to complete the outline. Take a picture of your outline and send it to lkowalski@jkha.org . If you are still working on your questions (note cards) for middle life and late life, please have that completed ASAP! It was due last Friday!! I do not want anyone to fall behind!

Good morning!


  1. Reading: Watch the video of Cricket in Times Square. (see above)You should follow along in the novel. In this chapter Mario and Chester meet an important character in the novel. Complete and submit the google form for chapter 6 vocabulary for the Book, Cricket in Times Square.


  1. Complete chapter 6 questions in your Cricket in Times square packet. Remember to write the page numbers where you found the correct answer. (see below)

  2. Research: Work on the late life cards for you biography. We will begin writing our biography draft next week. We will use a quick outline for each section. You should be finished with your beginning and middle life note cards.

  3. Word wisdom- read and complete pages 73-75.

  4. Math- complete 2 pages of your fraction review packet. It says extra practice at the bottom of the page. Play Boom cards add and subtract mixed fractions. You will need a pencil and paper. The game is like Kahoot. We played it in class. This is the link the fast pin is cssb
