Good morning!

Tomorrow we will have a writing /Readworks zoom meeting at 9:15 am.

1. Vocabulary: Complete all of the questions and submit the google form for chapter 10 vocabulary for Cricket in Times Square. (see below) You may use a dictionary.The last question should have complete sentences.

2. Watch the video (below) and read chapter 10 of Cricket in Times Square.

3. Complete chapter 10 questions in your Cricket in Times square packet. Remember to write the page numbers where you found the correct answer. Then email your completed work to alevitt@jkha.org .

4. Math- Today you are going to complete a worksheet on tenths. (see below) Any whole number is written on the left of the decimal point and the tenths place is the first place to the right of the decimal point. When we read a decimal, we read the decimal point as and the number and the decimal place value. For example 2.5 is read " two and 5 tenths". Please send a scan/photo of your completed work to alevitt@jkha.org.

6. Sign up for Newsela. Use the link provided. Read the Man on the Moon biography and answer the questions. We are going to use the article for a writing assignment on Friday.
