Turn on the projecot by clicking the Projecter On button.
Select the device that you are connecting to
Mac & iPad: Apple TV
Windows: Mirracast
On your laptop, start the connection process and find your classroom
Connect
Click on the control panel option in the top right, select Screen Mirroring, and select the Apple TV that name corresponds with your room. On the Apple TV, there will now be a 4 digit code. Input that into the prompt on your laptop and you will now be connected.
Disconnect
Click on the control panel option in the top right, select Screen Mirroring, and select the Apple TV that name corresponds with your room.
Connect
hit the Windows logo key + P, and select the projector that corresponds with your room.
Disconnect
In your classroom mounted on one of the far walls, is an Extron Media controller. This is what controls the projector and screen.
Display
Projector On: Turns on the projector and lowers the screen
Projector Off: Turns off the projector and raises the screen
Freeze / Unfreeze: Freezes the image on the screen, allowing you to change what you are doing on your connected device without having to disconnect.
Up / Screen / Down: Toggle the screen up and down seperate from the projector power. Useful for if you wanted to project directly onto the whiteboard

When connecting to an external display, you have the option to either to Extend the display (adding an extra desktop to work on) or to Duplicate (copying your main screen on a different screen) as well as configure how those displays are oriented in space.
To switch between modes
Hit the CMD + FN + F1 keys to switch between different Extend or Duplicate
or
Click the Control Panel in the top right, and select Screen Mirroring
Choose from the dropdown menu which display you would like to duplicate or if you would like to extend.

Display Arrangement, brightness, resolution, and other settings are found under System Preferences > Displays
