There are a few options on how to recording a presentation or a class for later.
Open Quicktime Player
Under the File menu, select New Screen Recording.
From the toolbar, go to Options and make sure the microphone settings, file save locations, and record delay are as you want them
Start Capture
When finished, click the end recording button, on the top menu bar.
File should be saved under the location you have selected
Start the presentation mode of your software of choice
Open Game Bar either via the Windows Menu or the Keyboard shortcut (⊞ Win + G)
Make sure microphone recording is toggled on. (⊞ Win + Alt + M)
(You might have access to your microphone disabled. If so, go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and enable microphone access for the Xbox Game Bar)
Hit record (⊞ Win + Alt + R)
When finished recording, click the end record button or ⊞ Win + Alt + R)
Files will be saved under Files > Videos > Captures
Record narration and timings
Open the slide you want to start recording from.
Near the upper right corner of the PowerPoint window, select Record.
Choose from two options
When you're ready, select the round, red Record button, wait for the countdown, then start speaking.
To record from a specific slide, go to it, and then select Record.

Record a Slideshow
To open your presentation, go to Google Slides.
To record your slideshow, in the top right, click Rec and then Record new video.
To start recording, in the middle, click the red record button.
To start over, pause and click Re-record.
To save your recording, pause and click Save to Drive.
If not already installed, you'll need to install the recorder from the website here.
Open Application
In the bottom left corner, select the recording areas (Screen, Camera, Both)
Select which camera and microphone you'll be using.
Click Record, in the bottom left.

When finished, click the pause button in the bottom left.
Select done or the edit pencil to make adjustments
