Groups is a web forum / message board, where people can communicate by posting in threads. We use Groups as a way of creating an email address that you can email multiple users at one time, or you can create an email for your team to have access to a shared resource account.
For example, we've created an allEmployees group (allEmployees@ics.edu.hk), that will email all ICS Employees using one email address, as opposed to entering in all 200+ manually.
A number of groups have already been created, and you are free to make your own for your own convience.
