National Leadership Development Programmes
We develop and deliver high quality professional learning for aspiring and existing leaders at all stages of their career.
A comprehensive programme of leadership development is on offer to all school leaders across Wales and is in line with Welsh Government’s Leadership Development Pathway, as shown below.
The Current National offer for leaders includes:
Middle Leadership Development Programme
Senior Leader Development Programme
Aspiring Headteacher Development Programme - preparation for NPQH
Newly Appointed and Acting Headteacher Programme
Experienced Headteacher Programme
These programmes are now national programmes and have acquired official endorsement from the National Academy for Educational Leadership (NAEL).
Middle Leadership Development and Senior Leader Development Programmes have an accreditation option through ILM.
