National Coaching and Mentoring Programme Overview
National Coaching and Mentoring Train the Trainer Programme consists of:
Pre programme – delegates will undertake online coaching and mentoring skills assessment
Six x 3.5 hour distance learning training sessions in cohorts of 20 delegates
Intersessional tasks (regional delivery structure may vary)
Delegates will have the opportunity to join additional online small group coaching supervision sessions
Delegates will have access to tutor support via email and telephone throughout the programme lifecycle
Delegate will have the opportunity to pursue self-funded accreditation the ILM L3, 5 or 7 Award in Coaching and Mentoring after completing the course
Delegates will subsequently receive one day professional development update training annually

At the end of the programme the delegate will:
Know what it takes to be an effective coach and mentor
Understand the role and responsibilities of effective coaches and mentors
Learn how to use recognised coaching and mentoring models, and the tools and techniques to support it
Put your new skills into practice and carry out supervised coaching & mentoring sessions as part of the programme
Analyse coaching and mentoring performance to improve own ability
What is expected of delegates enrolling upon the programme
Attendance at all programme sessions
Completion of pre programme online coaching and mentoring assessment
Complete pre-reading before each session from bespoke training pack
Practice using coaching and mentoring tools within job roles between each online session in the workplace
