Leadership Programme
Realising Potential – Challenge for All Leadership Professional Learning Programme 2023-2024
As part of the Welsh Education Consortia’s National Professional Learning offer around ‘challenge for all’, we will support schools with a range of Professional Learning (PL) and access to resources, to support the development of a vision which ensures all learners are appropriately and equitably supported to meet their full potential. Below are a series of workshops as a feature of that PL offer.

MAT Strategy
Friday 10th November 2023
13.00-14.00
This session will enable you to understand the core elements required to develop a strategy to support more able and talented (MAT) learners and consider some key aspects as a starting point.
Differentiation
Wednesday 21st February 2024
09.00 – 10.00
This session will support you with an introductory understanding of the 'Supporting Vulnerable Learners Through Effective Teaching and Learning' resource and explore ‘Differentiation’ as one of the topics, looking at pedagogical approaches and techniques to support professional learning needs within your school or setting.
Metacognition
Thursday 21st March 2024
09.00 – 10.00
This session will support you with an introductory understanding of the 'Supporting Vulnerable Learners Through Effective Teaching and Learning' resource and explore ‘Metacognition’ as one of the topics, looking at pedagogical approaches and techniques to support professional learning needs within your school or setting.
Peer and Self-Assessment
Tuesday 14th May 2024
09.00 – 10.00
This session will support you with understanding the role of Peer and Self-Assessment in aiding learners to make progress and practical approaches that can be adapted.
