All Night Graduation Party!
As the end of this school year and graduation quickly approach, we are so excited about the return of the 30 + year tradition of All Night Graduation Party (ANGP).
There has not been a "true" ANGP since 2019 because of COVID and we are excited to bring the tradition back with gusto!! We need YOU to make this happen for the Class of 2022! ANGP is funded by donations and support from the community! This is not just a senior family investment. Most families donate to ANGP every year they are at Freeman and even after! With gratitude, thank you to all the families and companies who have donated and sponsored already!
How can you be a part of this awesome tradition?
· DONATE to ANGP - COMPANY SPONSOR or Individual DONATION visit www.freemanptsa.org and choose to sponsor or donate to ANGP
· Participate in the Class Challenge! Classes of 23, 24, & 25 - Bring it on! The Challenge is for underclass families to donate at least $22 each to ANGP. The Class that donates the most to this year's ANGP will get 10% of underclass donations deposited into their ANGP fund!
· VOLUNTEER**** - IT'S GO TIME and we NEED YOU! Underclass families are invited to help set up, decorate, provide items such as cupcakes, & coolers of ice! Senior families are invited to join in the fun at the event with many opportunities available! Visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0f4facac2ba1f94-dsfall and sign up today!
How does my Senior sign up to attend?
· ANGP tickets will be sold at the Senior Awards Assembly, Field Day, Grad Practices. Feel free to reach out to dsfangp2022@gmail.com with any questions or to purchase a “ticket.”
· $20 gets you on the attendee list for the event on 6/16/22 (the night of graduation) and a t-shirt to wear to the party! Cash, Check (DSF PTSA, Memo ANGP) and Venmo accepted. NOTE: there is not a physical ticket
· If an ANGP ticket is not in your budget, please contact your student's counselor. Everyone graduating in the Class of 2022 will have the opportunity to attend.

Thank you,
Dear Parents and Guardians,
A few reminders from our schol health team:
When your student is not feeling well while at school, please advise them to come to the clinic first to be evaluated. If it is determined that the student should go home, the clinic will call you. We have had issues with students coming into the clinic, already prearranged with parents for a pickup/dismissal. If that’s the case student will be asked to go back to his/her classroom and wait for parent dismissal.
As a reminder, the following vaccinations are now required and failure to provide proof of vaccination prior to the first day of school will result in the exclusion from school until proof of immunization is received by the school/clinic:
Meningococcal (meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY): One dose is required at age 16 or older and required for 12th grade entry.
Any conditionally enrolled students must have their immunizations up to date before next school year.
If you need help with getting immunizations: Henrico Health District 804-501-4651
VCU Children’s Hospital 804-828-2467
A link to the requirements is available under “Immunizations” at www.henricoschools.us/health-safety/.
Proof of all immunizations should be provided to the school or clinic before Aug. 29, the first day of the 2022-23 school year.
Parents, PLEASE pick up medications from the clinic by June 16th till 11 AM.
VA State regulations require ALL medication left at school at the end of the school year be discarded.
Sincerely,
Megan Wiesak, BNS, RN
Freeman High School
Proof of all immunizations must be provided to the school/clinic prior to the first day of school.
As a reminder, the following vaccinations are now required and failure to provide proof of vaccination prior to the first day of school will result in the exclusion from school until proof of immunization is received by the school/clinic:
● Meningococcal (meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY): At least two doses are required. One before starting 7th grade and another before starting 12th grade.”
School counseling will be visiting all English 12 classes on May 24th and May 25th to instruct all seniors to complete the final Senior Survey and request their final transcript in Parchment. All seniors continuing their education at a 2 or 4 year college as well as any senior attending a technical or trade school MUST request their final transcript in Parchment. The final transcript should be sent directly to the college in which they will attend next year (NOT Common App). Seniors should select HOLD FOR GRADES. Final senior transcripts will be processed in late June. Seniors should ensure they complete this step prior to graduation. Transcripts will continue to be free for the Class of 2022 through July 31st, 2022. A fee will begin being assessed for the Class of 2022 on August 1, 2022. Seniors should see Mr. Byrne or their school counselor with any questions.
