Reflection

• Using Tinker Cad and the 3D printers, I created 3d prints that looked cool. I made them because I wanted to improve from last time and these designs were an improvement. I also made them because I wanted to have some more cool 3d printed toys.

• During this process, I learned one of the many ways to make something move when 3d printed. You could do it by making one shape and then decreasing both side measurements and you had to have every other one be a hole. I also learned how to make a dual sign but that's way too long to tell.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to a knowledge constructor. It connects to knowledge constructors because I learned how to make something fidget on tinker cad.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the dual sign to work and not break apart. I did it by going to the new 3d printer and having it so there was no support. I went to the new 3d printer because the new one has a better feature where you can have no extra support and only the project.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the dual sign. The reason why I would change it is because if I printed it on the new one first then I would've had it done a day before and could've made the video sooner. I'd also change the amount of stars in the star fidget. I'd change that because if I had put more in there then it would've looked a lot cooler and would've moved more.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  It connects to Engineering design because I designed 3d prints that could engineer and move for some of them.

• My project connects to careers in design. It connects to design because after watching the tutorials I designed the rest of it and added my own things to it. Some jobs are like graphic designer, product designer, etc.
