Reference Sheet

• Using an iPad and iMovie , I created a movie about things I like/want because it was how I started to learn how to make a movie using Imovie with pictures of things I like or do in my life to make me, me.

• During this process, I learned how to make a movie using iMovie, how to make sounds, how to use a microphone, and how to edit movies in Imovie. And with all that I learned I improved my brain so I could learn how to make a movie using Imovie.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I used Creative Commons Images so that it wasn't copyright and because I never copied anyone's projects.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to add sounds and recording in iMovie. I was able to do it by clicking on the sound button and at the bottom there is another button for sounds. That is how I figured out how to add sounds and effects in my movie

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the quality of the images I used. The reason why I would change it is because it would make my movie look better and more professional, and it would give me the chance to learn more about movie making to use it more in my life.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to Digital Multimedia because I used poictures that weren't copyrighted off the web and made my movie on Imovie in Video Editing.
