Reflection

• Using Cospaces, I created a CoSpace that looked like I was stranded on an island. I made it because I thought it would be fun to make all the groups of animals and the exotic island. Also, I didn't have much time so I knew it would finish quickly.

• During this process, I learned that if you think you won't have enough time to be done, still try. I say this because on Friday I thought that I didn't have enough time for this project so I just got it started and didn't do much of anything besides the beginning things. But, then on Monday, I created the whole thing and finished up my reflection.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker. It ties to it because I used the computer and made the CoSpace from the computing of the objects.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finishing on time. I was able to do it by doing a simple set up for the CoSpace and just getting done in like 30 minutes. Also, I also figured out that you can change the background and add stuff on your platform to make it look like an island.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time I put into it. The reason why I would change it is because if I had more time to make it, then my island would have looked way better and more fun. To add, I'd also change the idea because even though the stranded island was cool, I probably would've done something different if I wasn't rushed.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  It connects to it because I programmed a CoSpace from the computer and made it look like an island.

• My project connects to careers in software. It connects to careers in software because I programmed a CoSpace which is like programming a software. Other jobs it connects to are software developer, Computer analyst, etc.
