Reflection

• Using HotWheels and an IPad, I created a video of hot wheels doing cool things. I made it because I thought it would be cool to make a video of just the hot wheels doing cool tricks. Also, I knew that the sound of the wheels on the track in slow mo would just sound crisp .

• During this process, I learned that making videos are boring. But, the stuff besides making the video are fun (playing with the hot wheels). Also, to take apart the hot wheel tracks, you need strong hands because those things are sometimes strong.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator. It ties to Global collaborator because I'm uploading this website page for the world to see if they wanted to.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what cool trick(s) I want to do that day. I was able to do it by looking at some other little trick videos from youtube and figured, why not. Also, I figured out how to hold my camera while I was doing the trick. I was able to do it by having a tripod to hold it and I would press start and then cut out the parts I didn't want using IMovie.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of tricks. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could've done some more tricks and it would've improved the video. I'd also change the amount of difficulty the tricks were. I'd change that because all the tricks were pretty simple and if I did more difficult tricks then people would have more fun watching the video.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  It connects because I had to design the setup for the hot wheels.

• My project connects to careers with hot wheels. I say that because during this project I just messed around with hot wheels and made a video that just showed what I did. Some jobs are Merchandising Associate and other random jobs in the hot wheels factory.
