Reflection

• Using Imotion, an Ipad, and a chess game, we created a chess game. We made a chess game because we both liked the idea. We also made it because we thought it would be cool to watch the pieces move.

• During this process, I learned how to make stop - motion with IMovie. I also learned how to take 1000 pictures and put them together to make it look like its moving. Also, I learned how to move them slowly and in small increments to make it look like its moving smoothly.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. It ties to it because we thought of the idea ourselves, not Mr. Renner or anyone else.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the movies together. I was able to do it by going into Imovie and clicking on all the movies we made and just made them 1 movie. I also learned how to add pictures from emerson's ipad to me. You do that by clicking on the image(s) and sending them by Email to me.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole project. The reason why I would change it is for 2 reasons, first being, it's really boring and nobody would want to watch it. Secondly, it would have been more fun to do something with clay, lego, or a mix of both.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Stop-Motion Animating.
