Name it "2.5 Music Video" and share it

How can you combine animation with music to create your own Scratch-inspired music video?

In this project, you will explore ideas related to theatre, song, dance, music, drawing, illustration, photography, and animation to create a personalized music video!

Requirements & Guidelines

You may use any blocks you would like, the ones above and other ones you have discovered.

  • Combine animation, sound, interactive clicking, etc to make a cool video!
  • It must reset itself when clicking the green flag
  • Must be at least 30 second long
  • Must have at least 3 backgrounds (use broadcast)
  • Must have at least 3 sprites each with 3 costumes
  • Must have one part where a sprite "sings" along with "say" blocks timed correctly
  • Cannot crash; cannot stop in the middle; cannot have sprites error (disappear unexpectedly or "freak out" turning)
  • Check out the Resources page for free to use sounds.
  • Must be school appropriate, and not infringe on copyright.
    • i.e. if it would get a copystrike on YouTube it is not acceptable


  • These are for minimum 70%...Make it better for a better grade.

Feeling Stuck? Things to Try:

  • Use costumes to help bring your animations to life!
  • Make your sprite interactive by adding scripts that have the sprite respond to clicks, key presses, and more.
  • Add instructions on the project page to explain how people can interact with your program.
