Home Extension: Stuck inside? Here's a sure way to help your young learner get some wiggles out without the use of technology or a screen! All you need are some colored paper plates or simply colored pieces of paper. Tape them to a wall. Give your child colored bean bags that match the pieces of paper. If you don't have bean bags, you can use soft balls or squishy toys that are soft to toss. Encourage your child to toss the item to its matching color on the wall. Increase the challenge by creating a greater distance between your child and the object on the wall. For a further extension, write numerals on the plates or paper and have your child say the color and number as they aim for that item.

Yearbooks are on SALE! ECSE will have a page dedicated to our class. You can order a yearbook and create an ad/dedication page if you'd like online at yearbookordercenter.com. Our order number for O.C. Taylor is 17833. Last day to order an ad is March 15, and last day to order the yearbook is April 12.
If your student is absent for any reason, please email the teacher and copy paola.cervantes@gcisd.net and elissa.faught@gcisd.net. This is our Attendance Clerk and our school nurse here at OC Taylor. If your child rides the bus, please also call transportation at (817) 251-5592 to let them know.
