Curriculum Night Information

If you were unable to attend the 3rd grade Curriculum Night, here is the link to the presentation.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher.

Absences/Ride Changes

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please be sure to email your child's teacher, Ms. Paola, and Nurse Katy. It's important for all of these staff members to be contacted in order for your child's attendance to be entered in correctly in Skyward. Thank you so much for emailing paola.cervantes@gcisd.net and katy.faught@gcisd.net along with your child's teacher each time your child is absent from school.

When making ride changes, picking up students for appointments and absences,  please email both Gene Guinane (gene.guinane@gcisd.net) and Paola Cervantes (paola.cervantes@gcisd.net) in case one of them is out of the office.

Breakfast, Snacks, and Water

Please be sure that your child eats a good breakfast before school. We start our day as soon as they walk in the door.  Please send a small (peanut-free) snack and refillable water bottle with your child each morning.

Headphones/Earbuds

Please be sure your child has either a working set of earbuds or headphones that plug into the Chromebook and can be left at school.  We need them for the work that we do with technology.  Thank you in advance.

Birthdays

Birthdays are special! We will celebrate your child's special day by singing in our classroom. You may send in small treats like pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. if you choose. Please refrain from sending in any food items.
