My focus was to illustrate an apple tree in my garden with the idea of looking through broken glass at the tree using many techniques and mediums. I felt that it would be an unusual idea to combine each glass shard with a different medium. Through the glass, you can still see the apple tree. I have used many different mediums which was quite difficult to achieve because you have to think about colour, different mediums and the fact that you cannot put two similar mediums next to one another. I am happy with the final piece as it attracts people to zoom in close and see which medium and technique have been used.

My final design was based around two different themes: Natural world & Skeletons. This was an interesting journey and my design was not what I was expecting when starting this theme. I have incorporated many techniques into my dress design and tried to show influence from my theme into my design. I wanted an abstract piece with an organic and rustic feel, ready for the Catwalk!

The piece is a clay heart that I have worked really hard on. A lot of passion has gone into making this as I am so interested about the work I have been doing.
