I am interested in Menswear; I like the pattern-cutting process and the shapes that can be made from different cut lines and pinning.

The theme for my FMP was "Chance and Random", I looked at nature and the patterns and shapes that are formed by seemingly random processes.

I explored techniques that made use of natural forces; wind and gravity, to develop my ideas and produce a collection of visual characteristics that I could use to develop my designs.

I liked the contrasting qualities in the combination of tracing paper and fabric in my final outcomes.

My work and ideas are inspired by the drawings of the artist WLOP. The exotic style of painting reminds me of India and I researched Indian design and traditional dress as the main focus of my final major project.

I enjoyed the flowing lines, colours, fabrics and the use of a single piece of cloth to make an item of clothing.

The main idea I want to express in this work is the innovation of Indian fashion, how it breaks the style of Indian traditional clothing, incorporates Indian colour combinations and modern fashion elements, blending modern and traditional Indian design.

Inspired by my interest in colour and ideas about the contrast between the internal and the external I have designed a cloak. Through this object I want to express the idea that there are rich and lively emotional thoughts under a mysterious and frightening appearance.

The design, which has textile patterns and visual elements on the outside such as wounds, blood, and eyes, this was inspired by my research and an exhibition about dolls, which are both cute and scary.

Inside the opening will reveal a pattern of different shades of calming green which I developed during a screen-printing workshop.

The inspiration for my Final Major Project came from a novel I wrote myself; it's about new magical monsters and people who appear on a reborn Earth after the apocalypse.

Humans and animals combine to become powerful hybrids sharing unique characteristics.

The costume design communicates the fact that because the ocean is polluted, the jellyfish are highly toxic, which leads to their distinctive colour.

The mesh fabric represents the soft tentacles of the jellyfish. They are still soft and harmless, but also dangerous.
