本学では毎年、世界各国から1000名を超えるスタディアブロード生（もともと所属していた大学を休学してオーストラリアの大学の正規課程を履修するタイプの留学生）および交換留学生を受け入れています。モナシュ大学での留学生活を通じて、異文化への適応能力や、異なる背景を持つ人々との協働、そしてクリティカル・シンキングなど、現代の学生にとって不可欠となったスキルを身につけることができるでしょう。

About the City

モナッシュ大学はメルボルン市内に5つのキャンパスを有していますが、交換留学生の多くは、主にクレイトン（Clayton）またはコーフィールド（Caulfield）キャンパスで学ぶことになります。特にクレイトン・キャンパスは、まるで一つの街のような規模を誇り、年間を通じて多種多様なイベントが開催されています。

メルボルンには見どころやアクティビティが尽きず、「世界で最も住みやすい都市」の一つとして頻繁に選出されています。電車、トラム（路面電車）、バスといった公共交通機関が非常に発達しており、移動も快適です。

Monash University has five campuses across Melbourne, with most exchange students studying at Clayton and/or Caulfield campuses. Clayton Campus is practically a town of it's own with a wide range of events held throughout the year.

There is so much to see and do in Melbourne, and it is frequently voted as being one of the most liveable cities in the world. It has a great, fully accessible public transport systems of trains, trams, and buses.

We also have a great outdoors lifestyle, with so much to see and do, and to get your fix of Australiana. We are also the cultural capital of Australia, so we have a lot of art galleries, museums, festivals and theatre. We’re also very safe and inclusive both on and off campus.

Student Life on Weekends and Holidays

Explore the city for hidden street art, its architecture, bustling cafes and vibrant arts scene, or even catch a world class event such as the Australian Open.

During longer breaks, many students take advantage of cheap flights to explore more of Australia such as the Great Barrier Reef or Central Australia. Some even head oversees to our neighbouring Southeast Asian countries.

Local Cuisine and Specialities

メルボルンに来たなら、有名なフード・マーケットへの訪問は欠かせません。大学のオリエンテーション・ウィークでは「クイーン・ビクトリア・マーケット」へ留学生を案内しています。そこでは、新鮮な農産物やこだわりの肉やチーズ、そして名物の「熱々のジャム・ドーナツ」に出会うことができます。

もちろん、焙煎したてのスペシャルティ・コーヒーを味わうのもお忘れなく！

Melbourne's food culture reflects its multicultural population, with a very diverse culinary landscape.

From Italian food on Lygon Street, to eclectic cafes in Degraves Street, and Little India in Dandenong, there are countless foodie trails to be explored and devoured.

No visit to Melbourne is complete without a visit to at least one of its famous food markets, and that's why the university takes you to the Queen Victoria Market during the orientation week. There you will find fresh produce, gourmet meats and cheeses, and the famous hot jam donuts.

And don't forget some freshly roasted specialty coffee!
