ETHの起業家精神は、2024年に設立された37社の新たなスピンオフ企業に表れており、そのうち35%は女性が（共同）創業者として率いています。ETHのスピンオフ企業は、2024年に外部の第三者投資家から4億2500万スイスフラン以上の資金を調達しました。さらに本学は、学生が基礎研究を実社会に応用することを奨励し、起業家的な思考を育んでいます。

Albert Einstein is one of the 22 Nobel Prize winners who have had or have a connection with ETH Zurich. Local Cuisine and Specialities

皆さんスイスのフォンデュやラクレットはご存知でしょうが、スイス料理の魅力はそれだけではありません。ドイツ、フランス、イタリアといった近隣諸国の影響と、素朴でボリュームのある郷土料理が融合したもので、地元で採れる旬の食材を重視しているのが特徴です。ベジタリアンやヴィーガン向けの料理の選択肢も豊富にあります。

ぜひ地元のファーマーズマーケットに足を運んでみてください。そこでは、多種多様なチーズ、肉製品、パン、チョコレートが売られています。チューリッヒの代表的な名物には、チューリッヒャー・ゲシュネッツェルテス（Zürcher Geschnetzeltes）、ビルヒャー・ミューズリー（Birchermuesli）、ルクセンブルゲリ（Luxemburgerli）などがあり、滞在中にぜひ一度は味わってみてください。

You all know Swiss fondue and raclette, but Swiss cuisine is much more than that. It's a blend of hearty regional specialties and influences from neighboring countries like Germany, France, and Italy. The cuisine is characterized by a strong emphasis on local, seasonal ingredients. There is also plenty of choice for vegetarian and vegan eating. Be sure to visit the local farmers’ markets, where you'll find a wide variety of cheeses, meats, breads, and chocolates. Popular Zurich specialties include Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, Birchermuesli, and Luxemburgerli, which you should try at least once during your stay.

One of the highlights is the 10-day FOOD ZURICH food festival in June, where traditional Swiss dishes are presented alongside global culinary trends at more than 100 food-related events.
