About the City

パリ政治学院は現在、フランスの7都市（ディジョン、ル・アーヴル、マントン、ナンシー、パリ、ポワティエ、ランス）にキャンパスを構えています。これらのキャンパスは、いずれも卓越した歴史的・文化的遺産を誇る都市に位置しています。7つのキャンパスは、それぞれ緊密な多文化の学生コミュニティの拠点であり、活気に満ちた知的な学生生活やサークル活動が特徴です。
Sciences Po is present today in seven French cities: Dijon, Le Havre, Menton, Nancy, Paris, Poitiers, Reims. ディジョン・キャンパス Dijon campus

ブルゴーニュ地方に位置するディジョン・キャンパスは、2001年に設立され、19世紀の壮麗な建物内にあります。ここでは、「EU・中央ヨーロッパ・東ヨーロッパ」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
Located in the region of Burgundy in a magnificent 19th century building, the Dijon campus was created in 2001. It hosts students who have chosen to follow the European Union, Central and Eastern Europe minor.

ル・アーヴル・キャンパス Le Havre campus

2007年以来、ノルマンディー海岸に位置するル・アーヴルの街にキャンパスを置いています。港を見下ろすガラス張りの建物に入っており、便利で絵のように美しい学習環境を学生に提供しています。ここでは、「アジア太平洋」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
Since 2007, the city of Le Havre has been home to Sciences Po’s campus on the Normandy Coast. Housed in a glass building overlooking the port, the Le Havre Campus offers students a convenient and picturesque setting for their studies. It hosts the students who have chosen to follow the Asia-Pacific minor.

マントン・キャンパス Menton campus

2005年に開設されたマントン・キャンパスは、コート・ダジュールに位置し、街の歴史的中心部にあります。地中海に面した19世紀のイタリア様式の建物を使用しています。ここでは、「地中海・中東」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
Opened in 2005, the Menton campus sits on the French Riviera in the heart of the city’s historic centre. It is housed in a 19th century Italianate building facing out to the Mediterranean. It hosts students who have chosen to follow the Mediterranean and Middle East minor.

ナンシー・キャンパス Nancy campus

2000年にロレーヌ地方に設立されたナンシー・キャンパスは、オテル・デ・ミッション・ロワイヤル（Hôtel des Missions Royales）という壮麗な18世紀の建物内にあります。ここでは、「EU・フランス・ドイツパートナーシップ」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
Established in the region of Lorraine in 2000, the Nancy Campus is housed in a magnificent 18th century building, the Hôtel des Missions Royales. The Nancy campus hosts students who have chosen to follow the European Union, Franco-German partnership minor.

パリ・キャンパス Paris campus

フランスの首都の中心、サン＝ジェルマン＝デ＝プレ地区に位置し、ルーヴル美術館、セーヌ川、リュクサンブール公園にも近いパリ・キャンパスは、1872年に本学が創設された歴史的な発祥の地です。2022年1月からは、都心に新設されたサン＝トマ（Saint Thomas）キャンパスが、15万平方フィートの敷地で学生や研究者を迎え入れています。
Located in the heart of the French capital, in the neighbourhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and close to the Louvre Museum, the Seine and the Luxembourg Gardens, the Paris Campus is Sciences Po’s historic birthplace, where the institution was founded in 1872. Since January 2022, the new Saint Thomas campus has welcomed students and researchers in a 150,000 sq ft site in the heart of the city.

ポワティエ・キャンパス Poitiers campus

パリ政治学院は2001年からポワティエにキャンパスを置いています。2019年初頭、学部キャンパスは、かつて「ジャコバン修道院」やスタニスラスコレージュとして使われていた18世紀の建物を修復した校舎に移転しました。ここでは、「ラテンアメリカ・カリブ」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
Sciences Po has been present in Poitiers since 2001. In early 2019, the Undergraduate College moved into the restored 18th century buildings that once housed the “monastery of the Jacobins” and the Collège Stanislas. It hosts students who have chosen to follow the Latin America and the Caribbean minor.

ランス・キャンパス Reims campus

シャンパーニュ地方の中心地、「諸王の都」ランスにて、2010年9月に開校しました。キャンパスは、全面改装された17世紀の建物を使用しています。このキャンパスでは、「北米」または「アフリカ」を副専攻として選択した学生が学んでいます。
In the heart of the Champagne region, the Reims campus opened in September 2010 in an entirely renovated 17th century building in the “City of Kings”. This campus hosts students who have chosen to follow the North American Minor or the African Minor.

Student Life on Weekends and Holidays

パリ政治学院の学生たちは、週末や休暇を満喫し、リラックスしたり、身の回りにある豊かな文化を探求したりして過ごします。

週末には、多くの学生がキャンパスの近くにあるカフェや美術館、公園を楽しみます。パリでは、ルーヴル美術館、マレ地区、モンマルトルといった有名なスポットを訪れたり、映画祭や公開討論会に参加したり、あるいはセーヌ川のほとりでピクニックを楽しんだりします。地方キャンパスでも、ランスでのワインテイスティング、マントン近くのビーチ、ポワティエ周辺のバスク地方でのハイキングなど、活気ある地域の文化を体験できます。

学生生活も非常に活発です。学生団体が、テーマ別のパーティーや討論会、スポーツ大会、文化的なイベントなどを定期的に企画しています。

長期休暇中には、ヨーロッパ内の移動のしやすさや手頃な旅費を活かして、他の国を訪れる学生も少なくありません。多くは友人と旅行に出かけたり、短期プログラムやボランティア、海外インターンシップなどに参加したりします。

静かな週末を書店で過ごすにせよ、思い立って列車でヨーロッパの別の都市へ向かうにせよ、パリ政治学院の学生は、学業と発見、旅行、そして楽しみとのバランスをうまくとる術を心得ています。

At Sciences Po, students make the most of their weekends and holidays — both to relax and to explore the rich cultural life around them.

On weekends, many students enjoy the cafés, museums, and parks near their campus. In Paris, students might visit iconic spots like the Louvre, the Marais, or Montmartre, attend film festivals or public debates, or simply enjoy a picnic along the Seine. Regional campuses also offer vibrant local culture — from wine tastings in Reims to beaches near Menton or hiking in the Basque countryside around Poitiers.

Student life is also very active: associations regularly organize events such as themed parties, debates, sports tournaments, and cultural outings.

During long holidays, students often take advantage of Europe’s proximity and affordable travel options to explore other countries. Many go on trips with friends or participate in short programs, volunteer opportunities, or internships abroad.

Whether it’s a quiet weekend in a bookstore or a spontaneous train ride to another European city, Sciences Po students know how to balance academic life with discovery, travel, and fun.

Local Cuisine and Specialities

フランスでは、食は生活に欠かせない重要な文化です。パリ政治学院の学生は、パリでも地方キャンパスでも、この国が誇る素晴らしい食文化を体験することができます。

パリの食文化は、驚くほど豊かで多様です。焼きたてのクロワッサンやバゲットが並ぶ伝統的なパン屋（ブランジェリー）から、ブフ・ブルギニョン（牛肉の赤ワイン煮込み）や鴨のコンフィ、キッシュ・ロレーヌなどを提供する近所のビストロまで、どんな味覚の人でも楽しめるものが揃っています。学生たちは、授業の合間に手軽にクレープを頰張ったり、地元のカフェでコーヒーとペストリーを楽しんだりする姿がよく見られます。

各地方キャンパスにも、その土地ならではの名物があります。

Food is an essential part of life in France — and at Sciences Po, students get to enjoy some of the country’s best culinary experiences, whether they’re in Paris or on one of the regional campuses.
In Paris, the food culture is incredibly rich and diverse. From classic French bakeries offering fresh croissants and baguettes to neighborhood bistros serving boeuf bourguignon, duck confit, or quiche Lorraine, there’s something for every palate. Students often grab a crêpe on the go or enjoy a coffee and pastry at a local café between classes.
Each regional campus also has its own local specialties:

ランス：発泡性のシャンパンとピンク色のビスケット「ビスキュイ・ローズ」で知られています。
Reims is known for its sparkling Champagne and pink biscuits roses.
マントン：イタリア国境に近く、新鮮なシーフードやオリーブオイル、柑橘類をふんだんに使った地中海料理が特徴です。特に有名なレモンは格別です。
Menton, near the Italian border, features Mediterranean cuisine with lots of fresh seafood, olive oil, and citrus — especially its famous lemons.
ディジョン：マスタード、ブルゴーニュワイン、そしてコック・オ・ヴァン（鶏肉の赤ワイン煮込み）のようなボリュームのある郷土料理で有名です。
Dijon is famous for its mustard, Burgundian wines, and hearty regional dishes like coq au vin.
ポワティエ：ヤギのチーズやファルシ・ポワトヴァン（地元のハーブパテ）など、素朴な南西部料理が楽しめます。
Poitiers offers rustic southwestern fare, including goat cheese and farci poitevin (a local herb pâté).
ナンシー：甘いマカロン・ド・ナンシーやキッシュ・ロレーヌが名物です。
Nancy is home to the sweet macaron de Nancy and quiche Lorraine.
