In this time, I researched about economic relations between Japan and Indonesia. For Indonesia, Japan is one of the most important trading partners. As of 2008, about 20 percent of Indonesia’s exports were transported to Japan. The percentage established a lead compared with those of other countries. For example, that of the U.S. was under 10 percent. Then, what kind of commodities does Indonesia export to Japan? The main products are oil, gas, electrical appliances, plywood, and so on. To enhance this good economic cooperation, Japan and Indonesia concluded the Japan-Indonesia Economic Partnership Agreement (JIEPA) in 2008.
The picture below shows that Mr. Abe (Japanese Prime Minister) and Mr. Yudhyono (Indonesian Prime Minister) entered into JIEPA.
By the way, the final presentation is coming closer. To do a good presentation better than before, I must set some key vocabularies of the topic and do paraphrasing. Sometimes it is little hard. My research partner last time, Takafumi, says he tries to write plain words in his research notes, so he can’t find words that need specific explanation. But this work is very challenging to develop my English skill. I am going to make well-organized vocabulary notes by consulting thesaurus, collocation and English-English dictionaries.
