This week I research about the relationships between Japan and Korea. it was because most Net uyoku, what last week I researched, hate or don’t like Korean and Chinese people, and in this April first cooperate opinion research was conducted in Korea and Japan, this was the first large scale survey, after Takeshima Dokto issue occuered. In Japan, sometimes anti Korean demonstrations are held, so I thought many people don’t like Korea and Korean. But, in reality, only 37% of Japanese respondents have bad impression for Korea and Korean people, in spite of over 75% of Korean respondents have bad impression for Japan. And 50% of Japanese and 75% of Korean concern about Historical and Takeshima/Dokto issues. It was interesting for me that 28.3% of Korean experts concern about Japanese recent nationalism, such as Net uyoku and actions of online right-wingers. And around 10% of respondents thought each other as racist country and people. It was very interesting for me. I don’t have enough ideas about next research, but I would like to research more about Japanese recent nationalism and its movement. I think it will connect to Japanese xenophobia issue, I want to talk about more about the issue in my presentation.
