There are two perspectives on the teacher.
The person that gives out homework or the person that gives out extra practice so I can understand better.
The person who gets me in trouble or the person who teaches me a lesson if I make a mistake.
The person who yells at me or the person who raises their voice to get my attention when I am not looking.
The person who makes me feel dumb or the person that gives me the confidence to work by myself.
The person who helps me when I don't ask or the person that gives me help when I am struggling.
The helpful or hindering person.
But think about the teachers perspective on students.
The kids need homework so they can do well later.
I try to teach other than academic things.
I just want the kids to focus so they can learn.
I'm trying to help them understand.
When they are frustrated I try my best to calm them down.
They're good kids.
I choose the helpful teacher.
